Art project week 4

How effectively did you use your studio time this week?

I feel like that I used my time effectively, coming to every studio session. similarly staying in most lunch times when i finished eating to just continue working for the afternoon session.

What new research or contextual references did you need to finish the project?

I needed more artist research, and I did some research on children prints to be able to completely flesh out the rest of the project. similarly looking at artists who do repeating print so that i could see how to line them up. I also looked at some online tutorials in how to repeat a digital print using Photoshop and paint tool Sai.

How well did you maintain on going annotation and the documentation of the work?

I annotate everything with what I do and do not like about aspects of the work. By annotating I know for the future what works and doesn’t and so I know not to make the same mistakes in the future. I have annotated a lot on my work as it is a thing I was promoted to do a lot in my a level.

What aspects could be useful in reviews?

All parts detailing mistakes and processes I did will be helpful for reviews. It will help remind me of my thought processes.

Has the last two weeks been what you expected?

Yeah, it has been a step up from a level that I expected, and not too difficulty.
