Stop motion animation

During this workshop we tried stop motion animation. we worked in pairs to move an armature and a ball of Plasticine testing out how to animate. We work on every 2 frames to make it so we only have to move 12 frames a second instead of the full 24, saving time/money in industry.

In the first video I managed the green balls and in the second video I managed the armature. we were given this chance to try both so that we could get a full feel for how to animate both.

I loved this workshop! Stop motion animation is more fun than I was expecting and I am really glad I took part in this workshop this week.

These progression workshops have helped me definitely decide that I am going to do the animation pathway.
