Plague Dogs- Film.

The film was written, directed and produced by Martin Rosen, who also directed Watership Down. Another Dark animated film that I Draw inspiration from for this animatic.

The themes of being trapped and then escaping are a common thread in the animatic I am producing, however compared to this film my animation will have a happier outcome and less bleak outlook on the escape. Being the end that reunites the family to be happy again. Not to be left ambiguous like the story ending for these dogs.

The detailed backgrounds and the scratchy style of the animation and backgrounds is something I would like to consider emulating in the creation of my animatic. Partly due to time constraints but also because I love the style and feel it adds real weight to the environment.
